Preview: What Makes BBW 2025 So Big?
BBW has always been intentional about striking the right balance between being a showcase for industry behemoths and a forum for builders.
The conference will pull together some of the biggest names in crypto for two days of insightful keynotes, firesides and surprise announcements.
Saylor is making his first appearance at a UAE crypto event alongside leading founders from Aptos, NEAR, Polygon and Solana. They will be anchoring a packed schedule.

While the main stage is packed with star power, the innovation stage is where the real building takes place. Attendees will partake in practical sessions on modular blockchains, advanced DeFi systems, Web3 infrastructure, and next-gen developer tooling.
Founders and senior engineers are also expected to lead hands-on workshops that identify and solve real problems.
Gaming and the metaverse are important topics on the agenda. They tie into Dubai’s plans to establish itself as the next Web3 gaming frontier under its Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA).
There are also multiple carefully curated sessions designed to tackle game economy, asset interoperability and the GameFi space.
How BBW 2025 Could Impact the iGaming Sector in Dubai
The associated iGaming industry will also be monitoring this event keenly.
There has been a significant spike in casino-related searches in the region, and crypto is playing an increasingly influential role in the lucrative sector.
More citizens are using a Dubai online casino to enjoy their favourite games, and financial services such as crypto facilitate their withdrawals and deposits.
Blockchain technology can also be used to fortify security and ensure that casino wagering is transparent. The technology spotlighted during BBW will likely spill over into the iGaming sector.
The sessions on on-chain authentication, scaling solutions, stablecoin infrastructure, and Web3 gaming economies will influence how the next generation of iGaming platforms in the Middle East are built.BBW 2025 is also expected to provide an early insight into what the regulatory, technical and investment scene will look like.
